Maureen Raytis Maureen Raytis, L.Ac., offers a natural approach to health care and enjoys designing treatment plans unique to each individual's lifestyle through the use acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage and nutrition. She earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz and continued her post-graduate studies to specialize in mental health, dermatology and orthopedic care. Because of her commitment to integrated care, she completed a post-graduate board specialty in orthopedics and is apt to incorporate laboratory values, x-rays, orthopedic and neurological testing whenever necessary. Maureen also has over 8 years of experience in mental health/ community health and has delivered numerous state-wide workshops to other health care providers with regard to optimal client/patient care. She is bilingual in Spanish and is available to provide care in Spanish whenever necessary. Apart from her acupuncture and herbal practice, Maureen is also a dancer and is currently working on a project with other artists to bridge the gap between art, expression and healing. |
