Susie Plettner has been involved in the healing arts since 1991. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Macalester College in St. Paul Minnesota in 1994. She is a certified acupressure therapist and holds certifications in Jin Shin Jyutsu, Shiatsu, and Level Two Reiki. She has also studied polarity, iridology, Chi Gong, kinesiology, and nutrition. Her studies in Jin Shin Jyutsu began in 1995 while researching and practicing natural medicine in Guatemala and Honduras. Working with indigenous communities, she helped create health programs that promoted hands on healing and the use of herbs, nutrition, yoga, and organic agriculture. She volunteers at the Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic, a
non-profit clinic that provides free alternative care to low-income women
with cancer. She is also a part-time instructor at the Acupressure Institute
and has taught acupressure courses at Trinity College in San Francisco. She
offers Jin Shin Jyutsu treatments and self-care classes through her private
practice. |
